Ahoy, mateys! The 2026 Tybee Island Pirate Festival is returning October 8–11 for four days of swashbuckling fun, live entertainment, family activities, and plenty of pirate mayhem on Tybee Island.

Now in its 22nd year, the Tybee Island Pirate Festival has become one of the Southeast’s favorite fall traditions, drawing thousands of visitors to the island each year. Since 2022, the festival has remained free and family-friendly, making it an event the entire community can enjoy.

This year’s festival will feature a packed lineup of entertainment and activities, including live music, pirate performers, a colorful parade, vendors, food trucks, carnival rides, a petting zoo, mermaids, face painting, children’s activities, and much more. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress in their finest pirate attire and join in the fun.

From the first cannon blast to the final farewell, there will be something happening throughout the weekend.
