Georgia State Railroad Museum and Savannah Children's Museum will transform into a magical wizarding-themed adventure during Coastal Heritage Society's signature event "Frogwarts: A Magical Adventure!"

This popular annual fall family fundraiser features STEAM activities, train rides, and spellbinding fun.

Families are immersed in STEAM activities such as chemistry, engineering, biology, and art, all disguised as magical classes inspired by wizardry. Lowcountry Turners will be making custom lathe-turning wands that will be available for purchase while supplies last. Highlights include: train rides; wand-making; potions; quill writing; reptiles; owls; "Kuidditch"; STEAM activities; fortune-telling; charms; candles; and more. Bring your stuffed animal for a special Magical Creature Care Clinic (aka Teddy Bear Clinic) hosted by the Medical College of Georgia-Savannah in the STEAM Center classroom. Other activities will be led by Coastal Heritage Society community partners including Wilderness Southeast (WISE), Savannah Speech & Hearing Center, Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry, Callaway Critters, Georgia Southern Center for Wildlife Education, Memorial Health Dwaine & Cynthia Willett Children's Hospital, Coastal Rail Buffs, Starbase, Savannah Tree Foundation, ABA Centers of Georgia, Painted by Autumn, Georgia DNR Wildlife Division Hunter Development/Education Program.Students from Garrison Glee Club will perform. Latin Chicks, Pie Society, Savannah Square Pops and more food trucks will be on site with food available for purchase.
